DESCRIPCIÓN KET 2021

Estimado estudiante de estadías,

Te damos la bienvenida a este curso de preparación para el examen de acreditación de nivel de inglés. Esperamos que durante este curso consolides tus conocimientos teóricos y prácticos que te permitan tener éxito en el examen de nivel A2 que presentarás al finalizar el curso.

En este curso tendrás la oportunidad de conocer a fondo la estructura del examen Key English Test (KET). De igual forma, tus profesoras te brindarán tips y temas para que obtengas un mejor puntaje en tus evaluaciones. Recuerda que esta es también una oportunidad para resolver aquellas dudas del idioma, por tanto tu participación y preguntas serán atendidas con completo profesionalismo y paciencia. 

Proceso de evaluación

Tu asistencia a este curso es de suma importancia. Asisitir te dará derecho a la explicación de cada una de las partes del examen, ejercicios de práctica y retroalimentación durante las sesiones que tendrán una duración de 3 horas cada una.  Además, durante las clases síncronas presentarás quizzes que se sumarán a tu calificación final. Otros aspectos a considerar para determinar si apruebas o no el curso son el mid term exam. Este examen se presenta a mitad del cuatrimestre y comprenderá aquellas partes del examen KET trabajadas hasta ese momento. Finalmente y una vez que hayas comcluido la revisión y práctica de todas las partes del examen, presentarás el examen final. El examen final es una versión completa del examen KET, es decir, presentarásn las secciones de Reading and Writing, Listening y Speaking. El valor de cada prueba se describe a continuación:

MID-TERM EXAM: 35%

FINAL EXAM (KET): 35 %

Dosificación del curso

Como menciamos anteriormente, el desarrollo del curso de centrará en el examen de nivel A2 Key English Test. Mismo que comprende las siguientes secciones:

Reading and Writing: shows students can understand simple written information such as signs, brochures, newspapers and magazines.

Speaking: shows students can take part in a conversation by answering and asking simple questions.

Listening: students are able to understand announcements and other spoken material when people speak reasonably slowly.
